portable usb linux shopping list
 
* debian/ubuntu based
* primarily for editing text
* ruby, python, java and a few other packages I want
* a non-bloated window manager - ie. something more like awesomewm than gnome
* only gui app I need is firefox
 
small enough to stick on a USB stick of around 1Gb in size.
