Lead Java Software Engineer

• At least 8+ years of progressive experience in software development and/programming
• Strong Java/J2EE coding and development experience. Experience must include application development on Internet technologies like HTTP, HTML, SOAP, Java Script, etc.
• Proficient in XML and SQL
• In-depth knowledge of back-end databases, either Oracle or DB2 is mandatory. Both would be preferred.
• Demonstrated large scale project implementation expertise
• Excellent working knowledge on any one of the following application servers [latest versions] is mandatory: Weblogic, WebSphere, NetWeaver, JBoss
• Understands development methodology and development life-cycle
• Should have use tools like Eclipse IDE, Perl, Ant, etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in person, by telephone, and with large teams
• Should have acted as a Technical Lead / Module Lead experience for prior projects spanning over 2 years with not less than 1-yr in an onsite-offshore co-ordination model.
• Should have lead a team of not less than 4 members in prior 2 projects
• Should have been in a customer-facing role in prior 2 projects
• Should be willing for a 50% travel commitment as part of project implementations to anywhere in US. Global travel flexibility would certainly be preferred but not mandatory.
• Should have excellent communication Skills

Solution Architect

Duties include solution design; developing applications on top of platforms; ERP and platform configuration implementation utilizing Siebel, SAP and Oracle; integration design and development using ETL tools, SOAP and middleware; resolving complex business and application problems; managing technical project teams; technical leadership managing and implementing projects with large, multi-divisional companies; and writing functional and technical design specifications. Extensive travel to client sites throughout the US.

Requires bachelors in CS, CE or EE plus five years of experience in job offered /applications software engineering.

Requires five years progressive technical experience including: Object and data modeling; J2EE/Java and web-based application development; Integration design and development using ETL tools, SOAP, and middleware; XML and SQL; Oracle database and J2EE application server; 3 years exp in technical leadership or management of IT projects for multidivisional enterprises.
