Problems with TomTom

  • The create account page https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/mytomtom/createaccount/ will tell you if your password contains illegal characters, but not which ones are legal.
  • The TomTom MySports Connect application doesn't allow you to copy & paste the Product ID or Software Version.
  • The dual account setup between MyTomTom and TomTom MySports (and the similar naming) is unnecessarily confusing.
  • The connect page for TomTom MySports doesn't have a link to reset your password
  • The "create a new password" page for TomTom MySports doesn't mention any restrictions whatsoever about characters and password length.
  • The main page of MySports redirects to https://mysports.tomtom.com/content/no-data-message
  • The TomTom Runner OSX app doesn't include icons for OSX Yosemite's "dark mode", so the menubar icons are invisible
  • Selecting an option in the OSX app's menubar icon doesn't bring the app to the front of your windows.
  • The "Update Account" page https://mysports.tomtom.com/en_us/user/updateaccount has a CSS bug that prevents you from seeing most of the form, so you can't fill out many of the options.
