OP: I'm excited about a new idea: what about X for OpenStreetMap!

Required responses:

  • I already did that months ago, didn't you hear (link to dead project)
  • X is a corporation. Couldn't we just use an established standard like RDF instead?
  • Oh, great, another day to do Y, just what OpenStreetMap uses
  • If we introduce X, what will stop Z from happening?
  • Do we really need X? Things are totally fine with our (archaic hacky solution that requires bash somehow)
  • Absolutely, we need X and it's a shame nobody has done it. Someone better do it, not me, but someone, soon.
  • Technically it's called 𝘹, not X- be sure to use the right one.
