To the great and wondrous developers of Code for America:
I've had the good fortune to work with Tyler here on the West Coast of New England (I hear you snickering), where he's been a linchpin of both the online and offline community. While we've collaborated specifically on digital activism projects, his portfolio is broad - he's a journalist, an organizer and "That guy who gets us to look up from our damn phones and pay attention to people and problems beyond our screens." His skills as a newsroom developer have matured at a frightening pace, and I believe he'll be able to quickly apply the resources of the fellowship to the improvement of the communities where he works.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for all the great work you guys do. As Tyler himself put it - entirely in earnest - MOAR CIVIC HACKING
