Subject: Fwd: Apple Cup permanently moving to Qwest Field
Director Sterk,
After some thought, I realized you might be the decision maker on the
Apple Cup moving to Qwest field. Please see my input to the Alumni
Association and President's Office below about this possibility. I
had forgotten to mention I will go to the DOL and forfeit my WSU
license plate if the Apple Cup is moved to Qwest Field.
BTW, my best Apple Cup memories growing up in Pullman was when I was
12 years old sitting in the college section of Martin Stadium for the
1982 Apple Cup. I would hate to think that you might contribute to
ending this tradition.
Thank you for your consideration,
Mike Mondragon

President Floyd, WSU Alumni Association:
I would like to express my disapproval of even considering moving the
Apple Cup permanently to Qwest Field. =A0I live next to Seattle so it
would be convenient for me, but it would erode yet another tradition
that makes WSU unique.
Further, I would consider resigning my lifetime membership to the WSU
Alumni Association and not make to donations to the school if moving
the Apple Cup to Qwest Field becomes a reality.
Thank you for your consideration,
Mike Mondragon
