BTW, did you note that several of these are mere element, or possibly metal substances?

Yeah, that's fine. I am not entire sure what to do with these kind of 'atom type's... but we have them. But your guess is as good as mine with respect to the number of lone pairs, connections, etc... BTW, for the electronic configuration, you should check MolBase: e.g. http://winter.group.shef.ac.uk/molbase/compound.html?id=1259
