Example output from my Mastodon Thread to Draft Siri Shortcut.

should I invest the time to collect my thoughts on macOS - as someone who was a heavy Mac user 10+ years ago and basically hadn’t touched it until last year? I’ve got quite a few and they seem like they could be insightful but idk.

the prompt for this ask is that I've now formally inherited my mom's dear old workhorse 2015 MacBook Pro (MacBookPro11,4.)

this is also assuming I am ever able to actually write again.

somehow I have broken the Ruby installation again... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

the horrid discovery that 14-year-old me was the absolute worst type of Mac user.

my other hardware note:

no, not even Bose's wizardry can fully compensate for Bluetooth's failures in the QC45's.

my single favorite Mac command line command is still man -t {PROGRAM} | open -fa Preview, which opens manpages as PostScript files in Preview.

hop on my TextExpander snippet group and you can just use \manpage to interactively construct this command :). https://app.textexpander.com/public/14093096578d4f40eeea15649f5cefbb

@DavidBlue At this point I have just given up entirely on the Ruby platform.
I suspect quantum physics to mess with Ruby projects.

@DavidBlue not sure what you're referring to re: bluetooth failures, but I have a pair of 35s and the audio becomes choppy when connected to more than one device

the solution (though tedious) is to use the phone app and manually disconnect the devices you aren't using

@matt oh I was referring to "audio quality" limitations but I do appreciate the tip.
