GSoC'24 Final Report: IVIM MRI Fitting Algorithms Visualization Dashboard Web Page

Project Goals

To create a data visualization dashboard that serves as an interface for visualizing the IVIM MRI algorithm fitting results generated by the project's extensive test pipelines.

Work Completed

  1. Data Visualization Dashboard:

    • Built a dashboard to visualize results from the IVIM MRI algorithm test pipeline.
    • Implemented features like filters on data by various parameters, and slider to control the plots range.
    • Unit testing results visualization.
    • Merged PRs: #67, #73, #72, #67

  2. Documentation:

    • Developed and deployed Sphinx-based documentation for the project.
    • Merged PR: PR #59

Current State

  • The dashboard and documentation have been deployed successfully.
  • I’m developing a NIfTI file viewer to display the parameter maps at the voxel level for a scanned region in 2D (axial view). The viewer is functional but limited in terms of dimensional rendering.

Remaining Tasks

  • NIfTI File Viewer: Extend the viewer's functionality to support axial, coronal, and sagittal planes.
  • Developer Documentation: I am creating guidelines to help developers add/modify the website content.
  • UI improvements: Make the dashboard responsive/accessible for mobile screens.
