My organization uses JIRA, and one of the ways I have been able to have session-based exploratory or halo testing included is by having sub-tasks automatically created for each user story including a sub-task for exploratory testing. That enables QA Points to be expanded to include exploratory testing. We’ve also built out session testing templates in our test repository management system (TestRail in our case).
