Jonas asks where are all the 2-in-1 Linux devices?
Why are 2-in-1 Linux devices non-existent? If I remember right, the Ubuntu version of Dell XPS has a touch-screen variant, but it's not (technically) a 2-in-1. The 2-in-1 form factor is probably one of the best things that happened to the PC market because it makes laptops more portable and more usable in various situations, such as taking notes in classes. My brother is currently using a Surface Pro for his engineering classes & he doesn't carry any textbooks or notebooks anymore because of it.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day.

To All,
I'm a regular listener of Unfliter, Coder Radio, LUP, User Error, the Sunday Linux Action News, and occasionally TechSnap or the BSD show when I see a topic I wanna listen to.
It's fair to say I consume quite a bit of JB content.
I have been hearing quite often that Windows isn't for power users.
I develop in C# on .NET Core, SSH into Linux on Digital Ocean, manage hypervisors and the VM's atop them, and record and edit video and audio on the same Windows 10 PC.
My name is josh, for my highschool news paper club i made a app from their weebly site, I originally made the app for android.
But after a week of releasing the app on the playstore there were many requests from the students to make it for the iphone.
The issue is that i dont have a mac on hand. The school offered to give me a mac.
The only downside to that is that it is probably locked down and i cant install any software on there.
So my question is,
- Would i be able to write code on my linux laptop and deploy to the mac?
've used Scala on home projects in the past, but Kotlin is looking intriguing.
Did you consider Scala for your greenfield project, and if so what were the considerations that made you go with Kotlin?
I'm from Argentina, and I've been working remotely for US companies for about 5 years now. I'd like to hear from you if you had some experience working with remote people around the world.
How do you feel with people that are trying to master a foreign language at the same time that they are trying to communicate their work during an stand up?
Of course I have some experience with working with people that talk other languages and I strugled to understand their english, but I would like to hear from you guys.... like the point of view of an employer.
I have another question from a different topic. I would like to run away from the company that I'm in. It's draining my good practices and I feel stuck. The tricky thing is that I'm building an importan project that I like to have as part of my CV. I heard a bunch of letters to you from people on a similar situation. I want to start something new, and if I'm lucky in a position where I have some voice over the project. Maybe the real problem is my PM and devops
Chris and Mike,
Here's the thing... the iPad Pro needs native filesytem support to do professional work.
Real world example:
During our home-inspection, I inqueried why so many inspectors were using surface pros (or similar) and not the iPad or iPad Pro.
Resounding the response was:
Any interest in revamping the JS mobile community app? I'd love to help contribute, but not sure how others feel about starting once again (looks like there hasn't been any updates in several years). Maybe using Ionic this time?
Maybe we should start a JB community app but not focus on streaming video or audio (which other apps and podcast apps can already handle) but instead we could build some other kind of JB app such as an app where users could send in questions during shows etc.
Or maybe just a stock simple app (even something as simple as a calculator etc. Just for the sake of teaching and getting new coders involved.
Idk, just thought I'd put it out there.
