Piggy Money Manager ("we," "our," "us," or the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our financial management application.

Piggy Money Manager - Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect NO personal information or usage data.

All financial data you enter (transactions, budgets, accounts, goals) stays entirely on your device. We do not:

  • Track your usage
  • Collect analytics data
  • Monitor your app activity
  • Collect device information
  • Build usage profiles
  • Access any information beyond what is necessary for the app to function

Optional CloudKit Sync

  • If you enable iCloud sync, your data may be synced to Apple CloudKit
  • This sync is optional and can be disabled
  • Apple encrypts this data per their security standards
  • We do NOT have access to data synced via CloudKit

2. How We Use Your Information

Since we collect no data, there is nothing to use. Your data:

  • Exists only on your device(s)
  • Is managed entirely by you
  • Is never transmitted to our servers
  • Is never analyzed or processed by us

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Local Storage: All data stored securely in CoreData on your device only
  • No Cloud Required: CloudKit sync is completely optional
  • No Remote Servers: We have NO backend servers storing any user data
  • No Tracking: We do not track, monitor, or collect any usage information
  • Device Encryption: All data on your device is encrypted by iOS
  • You Control Everything: Delete the app and all your data is gone from our systems

4. Third-Party Services

Minimal Third-Party Use:

  • StoreKit: Only for processing Premium subscription purchases (no data shared)
  • Vision Framework: Only for local receipt scanning (no images leave device)
  • CloudKit (Optional): Only if you enable iCloud sync (Apple controls this, not us)

We do NOT:

  • Use analytics services
  • Use crash reporting services (unless enabled by you in iOS Settings)
  • Use advertising networks
  • Share data with third parties

5. Data Sharing & Selling

We absolutely DO NOT:

  • Collect your data
  • Sell your data
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Share your data with analytics companies
  • Share your data with third parties for any reason
  • Transmit your data to our servers
  • Profile you based on usage
  • Track your behavior

Your data is yours alone.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Since we don't collect any data:

  • You have complete control over all your information
  • You can delete any data by removing it from the app
  • You can delete all data by uninstalling the app
  • You can disable CloudKit sync at any time in iOS Settings
  • All your data remains on your device(s) only

There is no personal data to access, delete, or export beyond what you manually manage in the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Piggy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
