Cybnate / Postpone NuDroid contract Jul-2016
Created February 20, 2017 07:41
Motion to Postpone the NuDroid Contract (hash fcb46382b2cc5527ce338fdcd88e67f3cbc3b8dd )
This motions refers to the custodial I've obtained for executing the NuDroid upgrade as detailed in this custodial grant: https://daology.org/u/cybnate/proposals/b90d9bcdbaee28337bc017e605e21f4b40109c9d
Due to the events in the last few weeks which broke the $1 peg with NuBits, the contract can't be executed normally. Given that other urgent matters are at hand to re-establish the peg, I propose that the contract between me and the Shareholders is postponed until the peg is restored.
Therefore the developer, MatthewLM won't deliver the required work according to the agreed timelines. The development work to date has been published. The details are here: https://discuss.nubits.com/t/passed-nudroid-upgrade-v5-april-2016/3716/39
The Shareholders agree that the initial payment of 4,000 NBT is sufficient for the current work.
The NuDroid app will remain on Google Play until at least January 2018 as per the existing conditions and the related infrastructure (svr1 server) will continue to be hosted according to e

Cybnate reputed signer 23-Jul-2016 (Hash 69e47b5df4dedb152c144deb7d6c28e2159e3820)
Here is my proposal to become a reputed signer for signing B&C exchange transactions.
I propose to start with just some basic infrastructure. I'm seeing a beta phase during which I provide best effort services. Once B&C really takes off and signifcant amounts start to be traded I will upgrade the configuration to a more professional setup, higher availability and adding further assets on demand.
Therefore I plan to start with a standard server with the clients running behind ToR. Future configurations may extent to VPS or hybrid models once it has been proven that stable and secure communications can take place.
The server will be multi-core running Linux with plenty of storage in a raid-1 configuration. Will add CPU cores, memory, UPS and resilient internet connection once B&C usage increases and services become profitable. Will still aim to provide better than 95% service availability during beta period. This is about 8 hours/week on average or 18.25 days/year downtime. This allows for technical failures

Think big, act small 18-Jun-2016 ( Hash 31c1190217cd7a764879675ceeb8321c3da0ecf3 )
### Introduction
I'm really excited to be able to present this complete motion to the Shareholders which provides the steps towards establishing a US$1 peg and a sustainable revenue model for Nu to the Shareholders.
As said the motion which establishes the peg back to US$1 and has a sustainable revenue model and provides an overview of the pro, cons, risks, benefits and costs. More work can be done on quantifying some items, but I believe it provides a good pictures of what it takes. It also contains some optional motions which can be progressed separately to further strengthen this motion.
I like to thank @creon for the model which he presented in the forum and on which this proposal is mostly built upon. And @mhps for the overview of Nu's cost centres and reserves and the fiat gateway proposals. Both greatly inspired this motion.

Cybnate / SVR1 upgrade 17-jan-16
Created February 20, 2017 07:50
NuDroid Server "SVR1" Upgrade (Hash 12b334b957538ee2cda30a75d0c6aeddc1369226)
The original NuDroid server "SVR1" still runs on a very limited infrastructure (1Gb memory, 1 CPU, 20Gb SSD) for about 10 NBT/month. It also has Cloudflare PRO level protection and SSL certificates to prevent easy hi-jacks/imposters.
Given the current memory issues it has with the Nu daemon and adding some future proofing this proposal upgrades the dedicated server to 2Gb, 2 CPU and a 30Gb SSD. This will cost 20 NBT/month.
The proposed grant is for 12 months and is broken down into the following components:
- Server 2Gb, 2CPU 20 NBT x 12 months = 240 NBT
- Cloudflare PRO 12,50 NBT/month x 12 = 150 NBT (this shares a subscription with LiquidBits)
- Operator fee 30 NBT x 12 months = 360 NBT (covering updates/backups/monitoring/certificates etc.)
Total: 240+150+360 = 750 NBT -/- remaining grant 1/3 of NBT450 (*) =150 = 600 NBT for 12 months.
