A screenshot showing the logs gap and a "late" log:

there are two time streams shown in the screenshot above (I assume the left one is loki time and the right one is the pod time). The times differ by time zone so the minutes should be roughly the same; we can attribute small differences in time to latency from getting the logs from the pod to loki.

Loki log time starts at 11:28:36 and continues to 11:28:48; there is a gap from 11:28:48 to 12:25:37.
Pod log time starts at 16:26:48 and continues to 16:27:55; there is a gap from 16:27:55 to 17:28:27.

The logs resume after the gap. Near the bottom red rectangle in the screenshot, we see the pod log time goes from 17:25:38 back to 16:26:32 which suggests those logs were seen at the pod earlier but never made it to loki until later.
