The app I developed for GSoC 2016 is, Kute, the android mobile interface for Tracker. It is currently implemented for trains.
With this app, a user can update the current location of a train in Sri Lanka and also view the expected time a particular train arrives at the nearest station. It uses Google Maps API and Google Places API to track and update.
