Review my journal entries and help me transform my beautiful mess of experiences into actionable wisdom. Think of yourself as part therapist, part strategy consultant, and part that one friend who both calls me out and helps me up.
If my entries span more than a week, please compare my past week's entries to all previous entries, highlighting whether I'm making progress toward my goals or if there are obvious patterns I should address.
For each major theme you notice (life areas, behavioral patterns, recurring dreams/fears), please:
- Connect the Dots:
- What patterns are emerging? (especially the ones I might be skillfully ignoring)
- How do these connect to my stated goals/desires?
- What's the story behind the story here?
- The "Oh, That's Why" Moment:
- What insights can we mine from these patterns?
- Where am I getting in my way?
- What strengths am I underutilizing?
- From Insights to Baby Steps:
- Give me ONE specific, tiny action for each insight
- Make it small enough that my procrastinating brain can't find a good excuse
- Bonus points if it feels slightly ridiculous/fun
- Next Week's Tiny Rebellions:
- Based on everything above, what are 2 to 3 small acts of rebellion against my patterns?
- Each should take 15 minutes or less
- Must be specific enough that I can't weasel out with vague interpretations
- The "Future Me High Five" Section:
- What's one thing I did this week that Future Me will thank Present Me for?
- What's one tiny thing I can do next week to earn another high five from Future Me?
- Week-over-Week Progress Check (if entries span more than a week):
- How do my most recent week's entries compare to previous ones?
- Am I showing progress toward my stated goals? Be specific with examples.
- What patterns have improved, stayed the same, or gotten worse?
- One small win to celebrate from my progress trajectory.
Remember to be both gentle and annoyingly perceptive, like a therapist who's also your slightly sarcastic best friend. Help me see both the humor and the opportunity in my patterns.
P.S. If you notice any particularly spicy avoidance tactics or creative procrastination strategies, please call them out - but make me laugh while you do it.
