Focus Reader does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
All data — including reading preferences (speed, highlight color, reading mode), reading statistics (words read, articles finished), and session data — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API.
The only external network request made is to LemonSqueezy's license validation API when you activate a Pro license key. Only the license key string is sent in this request. No personal data, browsing history, or reading activity is transmitted.
- LemonSqueezy (license validation only, triggered manually by the user)
- Browsing history
- Reading habits or article content
- Personal information
- Location data
- Cookies or tracking data
All data remains on your local device. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
