I was torn between rating 5 or 6 stars - for what it's worth they do get my vote for AskGamblers casino of 2019,
The Goods:
- tons of promotions both for new players and old.
- ample deposit AND withdraw options (e-transfer withdraw was available to me in Canada)
- 24/7 live chat customer service is professional, quick, friendly and knowledgeable
- lots of games other than slots, as I am not a huge fan of slot games
The Needs Improving:
- took me way too long for my first withdraw; I submitted all my identity documents and so then after a few days they emailed me that they needed a copy of my VISA, so I did so; THEN a few days later they emailed me to tell me they needed proof of deposit, so I submitted that; THEN a day later I get an email that my VISA scan was rejected because I covered up 1 too many numbers - I left the first 4 and last 4, but they needed to see the first 5 and last 4... really, I know this must be policy but I would think those in charge of identity verifications could use some judgment ~ I submitted ample identity documents and also provided the proof of deposit, and all the numbers you could see on the VISA matched.. It's obviously me/the correct VISA! Not to mention, my deposit was only $25 and after completing my wagering requirements I was only trying to withdraw $100 . In the end, after they approved my new VISA upload, it took a little over 24hrs for them to approve my withdraw, but that was thankfully e-transfer so nice and instant once the email came.
- I'm confident future withdraws might go a little quicker now, but that was still a little ridiculous.. there are far less patient people and I can only imagine what customer service goes through sometimes..

Bonus terms are very tight and strict, the wagering requirments can be a pain in the bum, especially if you win good on Free Spins tthe casino rewards you; any winnings from a free spin the casino gave you must be wagered 30x/40x! (note that free spins won within the game, from the game, don't fall under those terms thankfully) I understand it's quite 'standard' and those terms exist at many casinos, but I've also played at casinos that have a bonus rollover of 3x.. not sure why this casino chooses to have such a high rollover condition.

If you're on a bonus you can only wager $5 ax until your rollover is done, but they don't actually limit you in games so you have to watch that yourself, if you bet $4 in Blackjack, don't double down to $8 because those bets count against the wagering limit too!

Speaking of Blackjack, most table game wagers only count for 5%-10% towards your rollover, where slots counts 100%! Again, I understand why and that it's standard, but I've played at a casino that had live games count for 50% and a few table games at 25% and craps was the lowest at 10%.. just because something is standard doesn't mean it's right or the only way. I'd love to see Bitstarz give a little more leeway to table gamers, or allow us to make higher max bet in those games.. I for one hate slots and felt forced to play them in order to fulfill my bonus requirements. Playing table games where I can only bet $5 max would take ages to rollover.

The bonus free spins only give you 24hours to activate them, and it's important to note that any winnings on them need to be rolled over, so heres the thing.. if you make a deposit of $20 and take the 1st deposit bonus you get $20 bonus money and 180 free spins given to you as 20 per day. Then you also have the no deposit free spins as a welcome bonus, and those are given at 20 per day but each 20 only gives you 24 hours to activate it.
So I need to rollover the bonus $20 30x, then anything I win off free spins also needs to be wagered 30x, however none of my wagers will count towards the wagering requirents of my free spin winnings until I've completed my initial rollover of my deposit bonus. Basically only one bonus is active at a time for accumulating wagering requirement. I didn't want to continually use free spins especially on days where I couldn't play long - they don't count towards my bonus wagering and they just add on more rollover -- I wasted some winnings being unable to roll them over in time because I hadn't finished my deposit bonus yet.
I guess it is my fault too - if I could start new again I would first do my No Deposit Welcome bonus spins, which take 7 days, complete any wagering for those winnings, THEN I would make my first deposit and take the bonus.. I almost felt disadvantaged in a way being that I signed up and deposited right away instead of waiting.
DON'T GET ME WRONG, I APPRECIATE ALL THE FREEBIES OFFERED! I just think the terms tied to those freebies could be a little nicer.
