The "Save and Fill" Extension collects user-provided text data. This data consists of:
- Custom Labels: Text labels that you define within the Extension's interface to categorize your saved text.
- Corresponding Values: The actual text snippets or values associated with each label that you intend to autofill into web pages.
This data is entered by you directly into the Extension's user interface (the Data Manager page).
The user-provided text data (labels and values) is used solely for the purpose of providing the Extension's core functionality:
- To store your frequently used text snippets.
- To display these saved snippets as options in a right-click context menu within editable fields on web pages.
- To enable you to quickly insert (autofill) your selected saved text into those editable fields.
We do not use your data for any other purposes, including but not limited to: advertising, tracking your Browse activity, or creating user profiles.
All user-provided data is stored locally within your Chrome browser's synchronized storage, specifically using the chrome.storage.sync API. This means:
- Local Storage: Your data resides on your device.
- Cloud Synchronization (Optional): If you are signed into Chrome and have sync enabled, your data may be synced across your other signed-in Chrome browsers via Google's infrastructure. This process is managed by Google's services, and your data remains within your Google account.
- No External Servers: Your data is never transmitted to or stored on any external servers controlled by the Extension developer.
- Security: Your data's security within Chrome's sync storage is managed by Google.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer any of your user data to third parties. Your data is used exclusively within the context of the "Save and Fill" Extension to fulfill its single, stated purpose.
Your saved data is retained for as long as the "Save and Fill" Extension is installed in your browser and the data is not manually deleted by you.
You have full control over your data:
- You can modify or delete individual saved entries at any time via the Extension's Data Manager interface.
- Uninstalling the "Save and Fill" Extension from your Chrome browser will permanently delete all data stored by the Extension from your local browser storage and any associated synced data.
