Random impressions: | |
- dig_choppy and cracky are too "hard" | |
- dig_oddly_breakable_by_hand shouldnt be same as choppy (your hand isnt an axe) | |
- grass footsteps sound like gravel | |
- dug_node sounds like hitting some hollow barrel | |
Suggestions: | |
- remove reverb effect of all sounds (especially hard_footstep and place_node) | |
- make grass and gravel footstep sounds less "hitting" | |
- maybe more sounds (more materials should differ) | |
- different place sounds | |
- ideally different sounds for all default.node_sound_* functions | |
- (they dont have to be completly different) | |
- Generally: Dont try to be too realistic, its a game and it shouldnt sound | |
that realistic (e.g. no reverb effect) |
