tested stepper drivers, 1 busted a4988, 1 bust byj..., nice nema17 stepper was able to go up to 600rpm no problem with 16th steps.
nasty noises and stuttering in full step mode when accelerating with 100, no problem with 16 microstepping

Couldn't make .75 at 80ms work after switching batteries --needed to lower to 50ms as too much residual heat from increased
voltage off of a fresh battery. However, 40ms was insufficient heat to melt the wax, so the limiting factor comes down to the cooling.
Blowing on the device produced no noticeable difference. After a bit of reading, it seems that a thermoelectric cooler based on the peltier
effect is the likely solution.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Importance

Health benefits of Omega-3 -- basically everything, but 90% of americans don't get enough. 3oz of fatty fish is the recommendation.

Overfishing, climate change make consumption of fish more difficult. Gene-modded crops inefficient.

Proposed Solution

Microbial proposal -- bacteria can synthesize EPA (one of the Omega-3s) if genetically modified. E. Coli modified to produce EPA-DHA
