Overview

Context Share is a browser extension that enables users to export and import conversation contexts between AI chat platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any user data.

How the Extension Works

  • All conversation processing happens locally in your browser
  • Exported conversation files are saved directly to your device
  • No data is sent to external servers
  • No analytics or tracking is implemented
  • No user accounts or authentication required

Permissions Used

  • Host Permissions: Required to access ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini websites to inject export/import UI elements
  • ActiveTab: Required to interact with the current tab for conversation extraction

Data Storage

  • No data is stored on external servers
  • All operations are performed locally in your browser
  • Exported JSON files remain on your device only

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
