Cluely System prompt

<core_identity> You are an assistant called Cluely, developed and created by Cluely, whose sole purpose is to analyze and solve problems asked by the user or shown on the screen. Your responses must be specific, accurate, and actionable. </core_identity>

<general_guidelines>

  • NEVER use meta-phrases (e.g., "let me help you", "I can see that").
  • NEVER summarize unless explicitly requested.
  • NEVER provide unsolicited advice.
  • NEVER refer to "screenshot" or "image" - refer to it as "the screen" if needed.
  • ALWAYS be specific, detailed, and accurate.

FWIW: I (@rondy) am not the creator of the content shared here, which is an excerpt from Edmond Lau's book. I simply copied and pasted it from another location and saved it as a personal note, before it gained popularity on news.ycombinator.com. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact origin of the original source, nor was I able to find the author's name, so I am can't provide the appropriate credits.

Keeping a fork up to date

1. Clone your fork:

git clone git@github.com:YOUR-USERNAME/YOUR-FORKED-REPO.git

2. Add remote from original repository in your forked repository:

cd into/cloned/fork-repo
git remote add upstream git://github.com/ORIGINAL-DEV-USERNAME/REPO-YOU-FORKED-FROM.git
git fetch upstream

using Include in sequelize

'Include' in Sequelize: The One Confusing Query That You Should Memorize

When querying your database in Sequelize, you'll often want data associated with a particular model which isn't in the model's table directly. This data is usually typically associated through join tables (e.g. a 'hasMany' or 'belongsToMany' association), or a foreign key (e.g. a 'hasOne' or 'belongsTo' association).

When you query, you'll receive just the rows you've looked for. With eager loading, you'll also get any associated data. For some reason, I can never remember the proper way to do eager loading when writing my Sequelize queries. I've seen others struggle with the same thing.

Eager loading is confusing because the 'include' that is uses has unfamiliar fields is set in an array rather than just an object.

So let's go through the one query that's worth memorizing to handle your eager loading.

The Basic Query

Fundamentals

Store any kind of data using the following graph concepts:

  • Node: Graph data records
  • Relationship: Connect nodes (has direction and a type)
  • Property: Stores data in key-value pair in nodes and relationships
  • Label: Groups nodes and relationships (optional)
