I was following Adobe Zii on Reddit and I had a few posts saved with info on "how to" and they got banned on Reddit. So now all posts have disappeared. Do you know if this place is the same guys that were on Reddit? https://tntzii.com/how-to-use-adobe-zii/

create an Automator document that runs a shell script rm ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.FinalCutTrial/Data/Library/Application\ Support/.ffuserdata and save it as an application in your /Applications. Then you can launch it using Spotlight/Raycast/Alfred (whatever you use). It will ask about accessing application folders so it does require an additional click but it works fine on 15.7 Sequoia. Hope this helps.

Is it working on MacOS Tahoe?

I was trying this "mv -v ~/Library/Application\ Support/.ffuserdata ~/.Trash"
But I got No such file or directory. I am currently using Macbook Air M1

Yes, it does work with Tahoe. Unfortunately I had to upgrade to Tahoe because I forgot to cancel the counter file for FCP and it expired. I had to download it again and you need the latest system now if you want to download. I can still find and see the .ffuserdata file.

You go to Apple Final Cut Pro page and download again. You can download as many times as you want as long as the version is different. If the version has not changed since your last download, you need to wait until they update to a newer version.

Also, you now need Tahoe to download FCP. If you don't have Tahoe you need to upgrade and then download FCP.

FIXED by running the updated command to wipe the new .ffuserdata file location:

mv -vf ~/Library/Application\ Support/.ffuserdata ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.FinalCutTrial/Data/Library/Application\ Support/.ffuserdata ~/.Trash

No, FCP is still available as a stand alone app. You need to update your system to the new one: Tahoe.

I dont think so. FCP 12 is not available as a standalone app no trial anymore from FCP12

could be worked just like in linux.
