The Tab Group Manager extension collects and processes the following information strictly within your browser:

  1. Tab Information:

    • URLs of your open tabs
    • Titles of your open tabs
    • Favicons associated with tabs
    • Window IDs that tabs belong to
  2. User Preferences:

    • Theme preference (light/dark mode)

How We Use Your Information

  • Tab Information is used solely to organize and display your tabs grouped by website within the extension's popup interface.
  • User Preferences are saved to provide a consistent user experience across browsing sessions.

Data Storage

  • All data collected by the extension is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API.
  • No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.

Data Sharing

Third Parties

  • We do not share any data collected by the extension with any third parties.
  • The extension does make network requests to load website favicons directly from the respective websites when displaying tab information.

Service Providers

  • The extension does not employ any service providers who would have access to your data.

  • Since all data processing occurs locally within your browser, the security of your data is protected by Chrome's security model.
  • No authentication tokens or sensitive data are collected or stored by the extension.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Uninstall the extension at any time, which will remove all locally stored data
