PREAMBLE
DevDoodle is a legal entity representing the developers of DevDoodle.net (https://github.com/DevDoodle).
This service is provided to all users to access for free, but only under compliance with our terms of use.
Content submitted represents views of their authors only; None of DevDoodle shares views of that of user contributions unless expressed explicitly.
We treasure your privacy and use cookies among various tracking techniques only to optimize your user experience;
You can look up our policy on keeping your privacy secure and with regards to instructions to terminating your account.
1. Definitions
DevDoodle is an unincorporated nonprofit organization.
DevDoodle and its Providers ("we", "us", "our") may refer to its Developers (See https://github.com/DevDoodle) or any automated web service responsible.
The Service refers to this web site and its affliated hosting and management services.
The Content is any user-generated ("your") content ("User Contributions") and accounts ("you") that is not authored and explicitly credited to DevDoodle.
The Management refers to the Moderation Team (/* TODO for bjb: add moderator page */) and all parties responsible for control of DevDoodle communities.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service aiming to submit or link (or direct to, in any way the Management sees inappropriate) to any Content which is:
- Defamatory or Threatening:
Personal insults of any kind that targets a specific user and is deemed inappropriate for reasonable discourse or judgements.
- Abusive, hateful, or trolling which is likely to offend:
Unconstructive and provoking arguments which has no place in discussions.
- Spam or spam-like:
Exists to promote a product by linking to or recommending it which is not welcome, or repeated posting of unwelcome content.
- Contains adult or objectionable content:
Usage of the Service does not permit any kind of sexually explicit material, including pornography or mature content.
- Is personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or attempts to exploit or mock the Service or us:

- Violates any defined rules as presented by DevDoodle;

3. Licensing, Copyright, Copyleft Licensing, and Infringement
By submitting any User Contributions, you retain copyright over the Content.
You are assumed consent in granting us an ability to use, publish or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service under a non-exclusive, irrevocable, permanent, unlimited license unconditionally for all material you hold copyright over.
You are allowed to, and not indefinitely encouraged to license your content differently in addition to the above licenses; In event of such an interest, /* TODO: Establish how users can share under custom licenses */
In an event that you are found to infringe an original copyright holder's work by submitting it as your own without complying with the original licenses or authorship, it is the policy of the Management and DevDoodle, in appropriate circumstances and in its sole discretion, to terminate all relevant activity of users who may infringe upon the copyrights or other intellectual property rights over others. /* TODO: Establish DMCA Takedown policy as a responsible ISP */
4. Acknowledgements
The Service requires an Internet connection to use.
We are not your Internet Service Provider (we're a different provider), please check your local laws and ISP policies to make sure you're allowed to register on and use sites for enthusiast programmers if you have any concerns.
None of User Contributions represent us, and it is your responsibility to trust and use submitted content solely on your own judgement and discretion.
DevDoodle is not responsible for any damage, neither psychologically, physically, financially or figuratively (including but not limited to damage to your goodwill, computer malfunctioning, facepalming too hard to cause physical pain, et cetera), nor in any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential shape or form, regardless if caused by usage of the Service.
The Providers will not attempt to reverse engineer, sell or trade your information, but that does not stop other users from doing so. Under compliance of §3, the irrevocable and permanent license cannot be terminated; however for individual cases (especially if against §5), contact the Management in necessary cases.
The Service is provided in the hopes that it will be useful, but without warranties, conditions or fitness for any particular purpose, even both expressed and implied, unless obligated by the law; the Service is not contracted for any guarranteed material or your assistance unless agreed by writing.
These terms may change at any time with or without notice. You are assumed to agree with the latest version of the terms by use of the Service.
5. Limitations and Restrictions
You are not authorized to penetrate, compromise or steal any information from our Service.
This includes exploiting vulnerabilities by injection, unvalidated redirect or forward, using any derived or known proof of concept from exploit databases of known vulnerable components of our service, revealing sensitive information, cross-site request forgery or scripting (XSS), compromising session or cookie management, or any other form of security exploiting or privilege escalation.
Just don't hack us, seriously.
You are not allowed to use any part of the Service to engage in, promote, encourage, even if indirectly, special, incidentally, or consequentially, any unlawful or unethical activity.
This includes any form of bullying, unauthorized use of copyrighted material, information piracy (While we support pirates who makes information free for all, it is against the laws and we prohibit that), illegal drug trading, illegal immigration, or even illegal fishing.
Do not attempt to impersonate other users or us.
6. Account Policy
Your access level of the Service may change at any time either by the Management or automated processes.
You are responsible for your submitted content.
We are not responsible for any lost User Contributions of the Service.
We reserve the rights to suspend, terminate your account(s) for any reason or no reason at all even if without interrogation.
