Overview
MobileScreen is a browser extension that lets you preview websites in a mobile‑sized window with an overridden User‑Agent. This policy explains what data the extension may access, how that data is used, and how we protect your privacy.

What the extension may access

Active tab URL and page content — only when you explicitly request a mobile preview (for example, by clicking the toolbar button or using the context menu). The extension uses this information to render the page inside the mobile preview window locally.
Local settings — device presets, custom width/height, and UI preferences are stored locally using browser storage.
How we use data
Data accessed as described above is used solely to provide the mobile preview functionality inside your browser. Rendering and any request modifications (such as User‑Agent overrides) are performed locally in the browser. We do not collect, aggregate, or transmit page contents, URLs, browsing history, or other personal browsing data to external servers by default.

Remote resources
To keep the extension lightweight, MobileScreen may optionally fetch static resources (such as device preset JSON or images) from our servers. These resources are non‑executable and used only for UI/preset updates. Core functionality does not require remote resources.

Data retention and sharing
Settings are stored locally in your browser and are not shared. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties outside of approved use cases. We will only share data if required by law or with your explicit consent.

Security
Processing is performed locally in the browser. We take reasonable measures to protect stored preferences and do not intentionally transmit sensitive data.

Your choices

You can disable or remove the extension at any time from your browser’s extensions page.
You can clear stored settings via the extension options or by clearing browser storage for this site.
