Privacy Policy

Heiryn is a service operated by Xenthys, 58 Rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France.

First-party data collection

Heiryn, hereby referred to as our service, does not hold any personal information.

Here is all the data we will directly collect as a first party:

  • User IDs: when a user is blocked by a server moderator or bot admin, their ID is retained to deny service.
  • Guild IDs: when a guild gets access to the AI feature or gets allowed to invite the bot in private mode.
  • Report mention: when a report mention is set for the AI, we have to store that mention to use it.

All other data is to be considered as ephemeral, it is retained in-memory and may be deleted at any time.

Third-party data processors

We depend on the following third-party services:

  • Discord: for Heiryn itself, as it is a Discord integration service (privacy policy)
  • GitHub: to host this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service (privacy policy)
  • DeepSeek: for users who opt-in to interact with our AI feature (privacy policy)
  • OpenAI: for users who opt-in to interact with our AI feature (privacy portal)

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Data deletion requests

The only PII we store are user IDs, for the first-party purpose of ensuring the security of our service.
As such, that information cannot be deleted since it would prevent us from enforcing anti-abuse measures.

While AI history may exist, bound to a Discord channel, it is ephemeral and can be reset by local server staff.
Such history may contain your username if you interacted with the AI or another user told the AI about you.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Important updates will be posted on our support server as well.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page, unless stated otherwise on our support server.
