Compile and deploy React Native Android app of Release version to device.
Disclaimer: The instructions are the collective efforts from a few places online.
Nothing here is my original. But I want to put them together in one place to save people from spending the same time as I did.
First off, bundle.
==================
1. cd to the project directory
2. Start the react-native packager if not started
3. Download the bundle to the asset folder:
curl "http://localhost:8081/index.android.bundle?platform=android" -o "android/app/src/main/assets/index.android.bundle"

Create a private fork of a public repository

The repository for the assignment is public and Github does not allow the creation of private forks for public repositories.

The correct way of creating a private frok by duplicating the repo is documented here.

For this assignment the commands are:

  1. Create a bare clone of the repository. (This is temporary and will be removed so just do it wherever.)

git clone --bare git@github.com:usi-systems/easytrace.git

# QEmu
brew install qemu
# Home for out tests
mkdir ~/arm-emu
cd ~/arm-emu
# Download initrd and kernel
wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/dists/jessie/main/installer-armel/current/images/versatile/netboot/initrd.gz
