Privacy Policy for ReadRaw

Effective Date: July 7, 2025

1. No Data Collection

ReadRaw does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing is done locally in your browser. We value your privacy and have intentionally designed ReadRaw to function without user tracking.

2. Permissions

To perform its core function of converting cluttered web pages into clean, reader-friendly views, ReadRaw requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab: Allows access to the currently open tab when you activate the extension.
  • scripting: Enables injecting scripts into the page to remove distractions and apply custom styling.

These permissions are used only while the extension is active and solely for page cleanup. No data is sent or stored anywhere.

3. No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer user data to any third parties. ReadRaw does not use analytics, cookies, or external trackers.

4. No Ads or Analytics

ReadRaw is completely ad-free. No user behavior is tracked, analyzed, or monetized.
