CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

From back of Ambrosia Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip bag, which used to be sold at Costco. Translated from a blurry image on Pinterest to this text file by Alex Hogen.

INGREDIENTS:

Amount Ingredient
1 cup Butter
3/4 packed Brown sugar
1/2 cup Granulated (white) sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 Egg
2 1/4 Unbleached All-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking soda
2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Approx 3 dozen cookies


INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg. Beat well.
  • Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well.
  • Add chocolate chips. Mix well.
  • Roll a heaping tablespoon of dough into a ball. Place each ball 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and place cookies on a cooling rack.
