# Privacy Policy for Sulwan

Sulwan is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the Sulwan Chrome extension.

### 1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any other form of user tracking.

### 2. Data Usage

The extension utilizes the Chrome `storage.sync` API solely to save your local preferences. This includes:

- Chosen theme (Light, Dark, True Dark)
- Display mode preference (Arabic, Translation, Transliteration)
- User-set location (stored locally for prayer time calculations)

### 3. Data Sharing

No data is ever shared with third parties, advertisers, or sent to external servers. Your data stays on your local device and within your personal Chrome sync profile.

### 4. Location Data

If you choose to enable prayer times, the extension will request access to your geographic location. This location data is used _locally_ on your machine to calculate accurate prayer timings using the `adhan.js` library. We do not store this data on any server.

Sulwan does not use any third-party services that collect user data.
