Privacy Policy for Gusto Hours Automator

Overview

Gusto Hours Automator is a browser extension that automates the process of filling timesheet entries in Gusto using data from Acuity Scheduling. This extension prioritizes user privacy and operates entirely locally within your browser.

Data Collection and Usage

  • We Do Not Collect Any Data: This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.
  • Local Storage Only: All data, including Acuity API credentials, is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API.
  • No Analytics: We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.

Data Handling

  • Acuity Credentials: Your Acuity API credentials are stored locally on your device and are only used to fetch your scheduling data.
  • Timesheet Data: Appointment data from Acuity is temporarily processed in your browser to fill Gusto timesheets and is not stored permanently.

Third-Party Services

  • The extension interacts with two external services:
    • Acuity Scheduling (to fetch your appointment data)
    • Gusto (to input your hours)
  • These interactions occur directly from your browser using your own credentials.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted with the extension updates in the Chrome Web Store.
