My Paid Apps Privacy Policy

Last updated Feb 2017

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We value our customers’ privacy as we value our own. This statement details the steps we take to protect your personal information when you use our website. In particular, it describes the data gathered by the app, while underlining that absolutely no data is shared with the author of My Paid Apps, unless you send it explicitely.

Collection of Information

The app (My Paid Apps) uses your Google account information to access google-hosted resources about your apps. That means the data accessed is stored and managed by Google, and the data collected to your phone is stored solely on your phone's internal storage, in line with Google's guidelines on how to store data app data locally on phones.

Absolutely no data is shared with the author of My Paid Apps, unless you send us debug information via email.

Disclosure of information

As we collect no information, it is not possible for the author of this app to share information with authorities, in case of legal process served on us. The app will never in the future be modified to share personal data outside of the phone itself, but rather stop being offered through the Google Play Store, should such legal process be served on us.

Security

The app accesses the necessary google services of https, and all data is stored in line with Google's guidelines on how to store app-specific data safely on phones.

The google account tokens provided to the app when accepting the auth dialog are stored by your phone, and only provided to the app programatically upon request (when updating the apps list). Due to limitations in Android auth flow, currently the only known way of revoking this permission is to remove your Google account from your phone, and re-add it.
