- 1 servings cooked rice (each serving is made from 0.75 cup uncooked rice).
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1 tbsp gochugaru
- 1.5 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice syrup (halve to make hotter)
- 0.5lb meat such as chicken, spam (optional)
- Chop onion and green onion.
- Cut kimchi into 2cm-long pieces and set aside.
- If adding meat, chop spam/chicken/pork/beef into bite sized pieces.
- Fry onion and green onion with drop of oil.
- Optionally add meat and cook until almost cooked.
- Add and fry kimchi.
- separately mix gochugaru (2 parts), soy sauce (1 part), and sugar (2 parts).
- Sprinkle mixture around the edges
- Add cooked rice and fry until rice is slightly browned
- Optionally add mozeralla and/or fried eggs
