Fedora Asahi Remix 45 prerelease on an M3 MacBook Air

Tested on a 2024 13-inch M3 MacBook Air (Mac15,12 / j613ap).

This combines:

  • the current Asahi installer (v0.9.0), which recognizes M3 Macs;
  • Fedora Asahi Remix's 2026-08-04 Rawhide GNOME image, which is Fedora 45 prerelease;
  • the 14.8.3 Apple firmware path required for M3.

The Fedora image already declares:

"supported_fw": ["12.3", "12.3.1", "13.5", "14.8.3"]

This is experimental Asahi M3 support. Graphics are currently software-rendered.
