# GMT vs UTC
GMT är lite svårt. Det är likställt med UTC som är vad vi idag använder
som bas i våra klockor. GMT motsvarar lokal tid i bland annat England,
på vintern. Även i England används sommartid - BST, British Summer Time,
UTC+1.
Sverige använder sig av centraleuropeisk tid som bas - normaltid, UTC+1.
På sommaren har vi sommartid, UTC+2 eller CEST. Att detta skiftet är
keff är en väderkvarn värd att kämpa emot.
