------Addition of New Official Games to Minetest------

The following criteria should be met by any game before it is considered for inclusion as an official game for Minetest:

1. Playable.
		To be assessed by testers. See Testing section below.
2. Enjoyable.
		To be assessed by testers. See Testing section below.
3. Reasonably bug-free.
		There shouldn't be any game-breaking bugs, frequent crashes, or obviously broken content.
		Smaller issues which are not game-breaking are permissible, as long as they are not common or frequent enough to create playability or maintenance concerns.
4. Realistic chance of long-term maintenance.
		There need to be people invested in maintaining the game. This doesn't have to mean new features will be added, but it does mean any issues should get fixed.
5. Offers something current official games don't offer.
		There is no point having a selection of official games if they all do the same thing in the same way.
6. No potential legal issues or copyright concerns.
		Game name, textures, sounds, the overall theme and any other content should be considered.
7. Is suitable as is for singleplayer use.
		Games written only for use on servers or that require extra set-up are not likely to be considered. This includes games that need multiple extra mods before they meet any of the other requirements.

Please fill out the following game facts and then answer the questions below. For the questions, please include enough detail for us to understand why the game should be added. (Three or four sentences for each answer should be enough.)

	How much of the content is original and how much is copied from or inspired by existing mods, games or other sources?

	How will the game be maintained? If new features are planned, is there a commitment to completing them?

	Are there any current problems you are aware of, and if so, how do you plan to solve them?


------Testing------

For a game to be considered for official inclusion, we need to hear feedback from players. When posting your application, please include a request for players to answer the following questions:

	What happened in the game?

	What was good about the game?

	What would you change?

Please note that player criticism won't rule out inclusion, and may save us time in identifying any changes needed to speed up inclusion of a game.


------Decisions------

After going through these steps, you may be asked follow-up questions or given a list of changes needed for official inclusion of the game.

If it is decided not to include the game, you will be given the reasons.

Please be patient while waiting for a decision; some decisions may not be quick due to the number of points that need to be considered.
