(C-x means ctrl+x, M-x means alt+x)
The default prefix is C-b. If you (or your muscle memory) prefer C-a, you need to add this to ~/.tmux.conf:
| var crypto = require('crypto') | |
| , key = 'salt_from_the_user_document' | |
| , plaintext = 'password' | |
| , cipher = crypto.createCipher('aes-256-cbc', key) | |
| , decipher = crypto.createDecipher('aes-256-cbc', key); | |
| cipher.update(plaintext, 'utf8', 'base64'); | |
| var encryptedPassword = cipher.final('base64') | |
| decipher.update(encryptedPassword, 'base64', 'utf8'); |
| brew update | |
| brew versions FORMULA | |
| cd `brew --prefix` | |
| git checkout HASH Library/Formula/FORMULA.rb # use output of "brew versions" | |
| brew install FORMULA | |
| brew switch FORMULA VERSION | |
| git checkout -- Library/Formula/FORMULA.rb # reset formula | |
| ## Example: Using Subversion 1.6.17 | |
| # |
| # Mac OS X Lion introduced a new, iOS-like context menu when you press and hold a key | |
| # that enables you to choose a character from a menu of options. If you are on Lion | |
| # try it by pressing and holding down 'e' in any app that uses the default NSTextField | |
| # for input. | |
| # | |
| # It's a nice feature and continues the blending of Mac OS X and iOS features. However, | |
| # it's a nightmare to deal with in Sublime Text if you're running Vintage (Vim) mode, | |
| # as it means you cannot press and hold h/j/k/l to move through your file. You have | |
| # to repeatedly press the keys to navigate. |

| myApp.service('helloWorldFromService', function() { | |

This page is not maintained anymore, please update your bookmarks.
When the directory structure of your Node.js application (not library!) has some depth, you end up with a lot of annoying relative paths in your require calls like:
const Article = require('../../../../app/models/article');Those suck for maintenance and they're ugly.

To limit a CPU to a certain C-state, you can pass the processor.max_cstate=X option in the kernel line of /boot/grub/grub.conf.
Here we limit the system to only C-State 1:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-371.1.2.el5 ... processor.max_cstate=1
On some systems, the kernel can override the BIOS setting, and the parameter intel_idle.max_cstate=0 may be required to ensure sleep states are not entered:
