Can we support the ticketing system by automatically classifying incoming emails?

Business understanding:

The goals:

  • Create a better way to triage incoming emails.
  • Provide a better customer support
  • Take into consideration the customer account.
    The company has a large amount of emails from customers. Each incoming email represents an open or closed ticket.

Analytic approach:

We will group the emails based on the

deployed marc_liberation to staging
opened tunnel to lib-solr-staging4: ssh -L 9000:localhost:8983 pulsys@lib-solr-staging4
checked that the hathi file exists in ls -lrt /opt/marc_liberation/shared/hathi/output/
opened a tmux new session: tmux new -s test-index
checked hathi final file. first column is oclc, second column is the bibid.
