Būšu aizmugurē, aizvedīšu līdz mājām.
Tikai nenomirsti, lūdzu: slikti rokas ziemā zemē.

Asaru upju straume aizšūpo manu plostu līdz jūrai.
Lai satricina vētra, lai astoņkājis,
es būšu stiprāks par tavām sāpēm.

Nosvītrots mans vārds pie tavām durvīm.
Laikam esmu bijis kādreiz dzīvs.
