Auto Linker Pro is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy explains how we handle data within the extension.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Auto Linker Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing history to any external servers.

2. Information Stored Locally

The extension only stores the following data locally on your device using the chrome.storage API:

  • Whitelisted Domains: A list of websites where you have permitted the extension to run.
  • User Preferences: Your choice regarding whether links should open in a new window.

This data never leaves your browser and is only used to provide the core functionality of the extension.

3. Permissions Justification

  • Storage: Used solely to remember your settings and whitelisted sites.
  • Host Permissions: Used to detect plain-text URLs on the specific websites you choose to whitelist.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to any third parties. There are no analytics, ads, or trackers included in this extension.

5. Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
