| # Privacy Policy for Nice Tab | |
| Effective Date: [Insert Date] | |
| ## Overview | |
| Nice Tab is a Chrome extension designed to help users save, organize, and manage their browser tabs in a simple popup interface. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. | |
| ## Data Collection | |
| Nice Tab does **not** collect, transmit, or sell any personally identifiable information. The extension only stores the following locally on your device: | |
| - Tab URLs (the links you choose to save) | |
| - Tab favicons (the small icons provided by websites) | |
| This information is stored solely in your browser’s local storage using Chrome's `chrome.storage.local` API. It is never sent to our servers or any third-party services. | |
| ## Data Usage | |
| The stored tab data is only used to provide the core functionality of the extension: | |
| - Displaying saved tabs in the popup | |
| - Allowing users to open, delete, or organize tabs | |
| No additional processing, profiling, or data sharing occurs. | |
| ## Third-Party Services | |
| Nice Tab does not integrate with or send data to third-party services. The only external code included is the **Font Awesome** icon library, loaded from a trusted CDN, used purely for interface icons. This does not collect or transmit user data. | |
| ## User Rights | |
| Since no personal data is collected, there are no user accounts, logins, or personal information to manage. Users can clear all saved tabs at any time directly in the extension. | |
