Mozilla’s Apps Partner Engineering team works with strategic partners, including some of the world's most influential companies, to make their web apps successful on the Open Web, Firefox Marketplace and Firefox OS. As the ideal candidate, you have a track record of excellent technical and business skills. Your focus will be on supporting the Global Mobile Partnerships & Business Development team in their strategic deals, helping new App partners through onboarding and adoption, providing ongoing support to existing partners, and representing those partners and their feedback among our engineering and product teams.
- Work with Mozilla's Business Development team and global partners to launch their web apps on our platforms
- Coordinate escalation and resolution efforts between different engineering teams, including proactively identifying areas for platform improvement
- Help partners implement existing or pre-release platform features within their products by teaching, consulting, and providing code examples
- Serve as the nexus of communication between internal engineers and external partners
- Create materials to help web app developers, including docs, blog posts, and sample apps
- Deep understanding of the Web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Programming experience in several languages (especially JavaScript, C/C++ and Python)
- Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences
- Development experience with several APIs
- Participating and contributing to Open Source projects
- BA/BS or graduate degree in a technical field preferred
- 3+ years work experience in a technical capacity
