| disable digibit r1 tuners in tvheadend | |
| unplug phyically the power cable for 50 minutes - 1 hour | |
| unplug all connections with spanner | |
| try cables 1,2,3,4 on bravia TV. check signal is OK "system info" on NHK World HD | |
| RESULT: ok | |
| + signal excellent on first 2 cables, with good picture and signal strength for the channel "NHK World HD" | |
| + signal almost perfect on cable 3 | |
| + signal good (maybe a little worse grounding) on cable 4, still good picture for the channel "NHK World HD" | |
| Conclusion: | |
| will use only the best cables 1 and 2 for the testing | |
| take cable 1 | |
| - plug into input 1 | |
| - switch on digibit device | |
| - launch eyeTV 3.6 on mac | |
| - check signal / reception on NHK | |
| - close eyeTV 3.6 on mac | |
| - switch off digibit device | |
