ChatGPT tells my tale.
Once upon a time,
In the land of code,
There lived a young programmer,
Named Edward Kmett.
He was skilled in many languages,
And excelled in their use,
But one day he stumbled upon,
The mighty Haskell's muse.
At first he was hesitant,
To delve into its depths,
But the more he studied,
The more he was swept.
He learned of its power,
And its beauty and grace,
And soon he was drawn,
Into its elegant space.
But not all was easy,
As he journeyed on,
For he faced many challenges,
And temptations strong.
First came the siren song,
Of imperative programming,
With its control and certainty,
It tempted him to stray.
But Edward was steadfast,
And refused to be swayed,
He knew Haskell's power,
And would not be betrayed.
Next came the call,
Of OOP's object-oriented charms,
With its inheritance and polymorphism,
It tried to lure him in its arms.
But Edward was wise,
And saw through its guise,
He knew Haskell's elegance,
And would not be compromised.
Finally, there was Rust,
With its speed and performance,
It tempted him with promises,
Of efficiency and compliance.
But Edward knew better,
And held firm to his path,
He knew Haskell's purity,
And would not be drawn astray.
Thus, Edward Kmett,
Defied all odds and temptations,
And became a master,
Of the great Haskell's creations.
He wrote beautiful code,
That amazed and astounded,
And his name became known,
Throughout the land, resounded.
So if you ever doubt,
The power of Haskell's might,
Think of Edward Kmett,
And his triumphant fight.
