Privacy Policy for Unpackr

This privacy policy outlines the data handling practices for the "Unpackr" Chrome Extension, created by Iyad Akara.

Data Collection and Usage

Unpackr is designed with your privacy as a top priority.

  • We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
  • All decoding and encoding processes happen 100% locally within your browser.
  • The text you paste into the extension is processed in-memory and is discarded when the popup is closed. Your data never leaves your computer.

Permissions

Unpackr requires the clipboardWrite permission for one specific function: to allow you to copy the encoded output to your clipboard via the "Copy" button. This permission is not used for any other purpose.
