The RealisticMon challenge is a challenge for Pokemon games where each trainer and Pokemon is more realistic. This ruleset requires randomization with PokeRandoZX.
General Idea
In the Pokemon world, would a random trainer have 2 weak Pokemon, with years of Pokemon experience? This hack makes it so that all trainers have 6 Pokemon, like they would if they had spent any time training Pokemon. In addition, their levels are all higher, from their training, and Pokemon are higher leveled (same philosiphy: wild Pokemon will get stronger over time, and they weren't born yesterday).
Standard RealisticMon: All trainers are competent.
Gritty RealisticMon: All other trainers are competent, and you're Ash Ketchum.
Kaizo RealisticMon: All other trainers are competent, and you're what they normally would be.

Notes
Base Randomization
All Trainer Pokemon are randomized using the Type Themed (Gyms Only) setting, with Trainer Pokémon, Static Pokemon & Wild Pokémon levels increased by 50%.
Use the settings Rival Carries Starter Per Game and Try to Use Pokemon With Similar Strength.
Better Pokemon
Use the Better Movesets setting during randomization.
Held Items
Add Held Items to all trainers, and enable Sensible Items.
More Pokemon
Give +5 extra Pokemon to Boss and Important trainers, and +3 extra Pokemon to Regular Trainers.
Less Legendaries
You may only catch Legendary and Mythical Pokemon that are required to catch in the main story, and only one Legendary or Mythical Pokemon can be in your party at once.
Some examples include Suicine in Crystal, Ho-Oh/Lugia in HGSS, etc.
Anti-Scumming
You may only save at a Pokemon Center, your house, or any other place with permanent healing.
Pokemon Naming
You must nickname every Pokemon. If you are a streamer, you must name the Pokemon after your viewers.
Starter
Choose a Gen 1 starter, and stick with it through the entire game (must always be in your party).
Pikachu included.

Notes
Extended Ruleset
This ruleset includes all rules from Standard RealisticMon, but these rules take priority over those in Standard RealisticMon.
Pokemon Injury
If your Pokemon faints, it may only be healed at a Pokemon center.
This means Revives are a banned item. If you must be healed outside of a Pokemon Center(required healing) then you can ignore this rule.
Even More Pokemon
Give +5 Pokemon to all trainers.
Anti-Grind
You may only catch 1 Pokemon per gym badge. In addition, you may only kill 1 wild Pokemon per route or other location.
However, you may catch one Pokemon before the first Gym to replace your first Pokemon.
No Resets
You cannot reset the game until you have done all possible wild encounters & all trainers that you can beat.
If you cannot beat a trainer and have tried everything else, you can reset and rerandomize.
No Legendary Flexing
At least 50% of your Pokemon have to faint before you can use a Legendary Pokemon in battle.
If 3 of your 6 Pokemon faint, your 4th Pokemon is allowed to be Legendary.
Anti-Evolve
You may never evolve any Pokemon except for during battles (no Stones, trading, etc).
You may use Change Impossible Evolutions to make this more fair.
No Healing in Battle
Using any healing item is not allowed during battle.
No Pokemon Switching
You may only switch Pokemon when your current Pokemon faints.

Bug Catcher
Your starter must be either Caterpie, Weedle, or Wurmple, and every Pokemon that you fight with on your team must be a Bug-type Pokemon.
