Privacy Policy for TabMaster Pro

Effective Date: May 30, 2026

1. Introduction

TabMaster Pro ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our browser extension.

2. Data Collection and Usage

The core functionality of TabMaster Pro is to help you automatically group, organize, and manage your browser tabs. To achieve this, the Extension requires certain permissions (such as reading tab URLs), but all processing happens strictly locally on your device.

We do NOT collect, transmit, store on external servers, or sell any of your personal information.

Specifically:

  • Browsing History & URLs: The Extension reads the URLs of your open tabs solely to categorize them into appropriate groups (e.g., Work, Finance) and to execute your custom grouping rules. This data never leaves your browser.
  • Saved Sessions: When you use the Session Management feature, your window configurations and tab lists are saved entirely within your browser's local storage.
  • Custom Rules & Settings: Any custom domain rules or settings you configure are saved locally on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

TabMaster Pro does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. There is no remote code execution; the Extension operates fully self-contained.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect any user data on our servers, we have no user data to share, sell, or disclose to third parties, law enforcement, or anyone else.

5. Security

The security of your browsing data is inherently protected because it remains securely in your browser's local storage environment, sandboxed by Google Chrome's security infrastructure.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect your contact information, we cannot notify you individually. Any changes will be reflected in an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this policy when a new version of the extension is published.
