We’re looking for an engineering technical leader to help define the future of our Data Platform for our Integrated Security architecture.
The team is building a Threat Intelligence API Server to integrate all Cisco Security Products and third parties data.
Together, we’ll improve the life of Cisco security customers as they seamlessly ingest and query Threat Intelligence data using a unified model.
- Excellent communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of a Functional Programming Language: Clojure, Haskell, Purescript
- Strong programming, debugging, and problem solving skills
- Experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis.
As a Data Services Engineer, you will invent new features and take them through the software development process,
spanning from prototyping, coding, debugging, and through to shipping and communicating with all Cisco Security Teams.
You will empathize with the people who will use the platform and listen to their feedback to improve existing services and help decide where the team’s attention should go next.
Throughout the process, you will work closely with the rest of the team and with other teams, including all Cisco security Products.
BS in Computer Science, or related field, or experience with software engineering.

- Experience in designing Restful APIs, GraphQL, Stream Processing, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis.
As an API Services Technical Leader, you will invent new features and take them through the software development process,
spanning from prototyping, coding, debugging, and through to shipping and communicating with all Cisco Security Teams.

The APIs of SecureX and Ciso Threat Response propose to federate Threat Intelligence Data and services.
